They are, however, a topic subject to fashion trends on both sides, with some casual competition going on. After some very wild trends over the past centuries, the elegant simplicity of black and white are currently “in”. But Aziraphale’s are still decades out of fashion. Not tartan. Possibly houndstooth or paisley. …Will save failed, challenge accepted. Poor Crowley. At least, as far as he knows, he won’t have to live with the embarrassment for long. You may be starting to notice I can’t get enough of them holding hands. Odd thing is, I think these wings suit Azzie. New headcanon - yes. If I ever see anyone complain about someone’s choice of wing colour in fanart again, I’ll just show them this and dare them to find me a passage that says otherwise. The rain never fell on either of them, regardless of the umbrella, but appearances were important. Onlookers always smiled as they passed, charmed by the bookish man engaged in conversation with his dark looking companion. They might have been worried, but they were endeared instead by the umbrella always being tilted to better serve Aziraphale than the actual holder of their shelter—and by the slight crook of Crowley’s mouth as the angel managed to lose his train of thought by going off on a completely unrelated tangent.
